# Refresh a Shopify product listing: copy, SEO, image and price

A Shopify product can need several changes before its listing is ready to review: product copy, search listing text, tags, a material field, variant prices and an image. This recording applies those changes to one snowboard in a development store. ApiMate shows the proposed fields and image prompt before approval, then the result is checked in Shopify Admin.

The last part of the recording reverts the applied job and checks the restored product. The video uses one product so every proposed value and the undo result remain visible.

## The request and its scope

The instruction targets one existing snowboard listing. It asks for a product description, SEO title and meta description, tags, a material metafield, variant price and compare-at price, and one studio-style product image. Other products are outside the scope.

The image has its own prompt and generation budget in the plan. The merchant can review that prompt together with the text and price changes before approving the job.

## What the preview shows

The preview lists the proposed values by field. The product text and SEO fields can be read before they are written; the prices can be compared with the current variant values. The generated image is part of the same reviewable job.

A multi-field request needs this field-by-field view. A correct description does not make an incorrect price safe to apply.

## Apply and check the product

After approval, the recording opens the product in Shopify Admin. It checks the listing fields, prices and generated image on the product itself. That read-back is the evidence for the result shown in ApiMate.

## Undo the update

The same recording then requests undo for the applied job. ApiMate presents the reversal for review, applies it after approval and checks the product again in Shopify Admin.

This is an update to an existing product. Creating a new product has a different recovery path: archive or delete it through a separate reviewed instruction.

## Questions

### Does the video update an entire catalog?

No. The demonstration targets one existing snowboard so the preview, Shopify result and undo can all be inspected on screen.

### Is the generated image applied without review?

No. The recording shows the image prompt and budget in the plan before the merchant approves the job.
