Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ApiMate's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

These Terms apply to all users. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Description of Service

ApiMate provides AI-powered Shopify store management, including:

  • Natural language processing for store commands
  • Direct integration with your Shopify store via official APIs
  • Text-based command interface
  • Automated workflow execution with human-in-the-loop approval
  • Analytics and reporting features

User Accounts

Account Creation

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Security

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your credentials.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with appropriate notice where possible.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malicious code or conduct security attacks
  • Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use the service for illegal or fraudulent activities
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Exceed rate limits or usage quotas

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

Payment Terms

Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Shopify Billing. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

Refunds

Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Contact support for billing disputes or issues.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply to subsequent billing cycles, not the current period.

Data Protection

We are committed to protecting merchant and customer data in compliance with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API License & Terms of Use.

AI & Data Usage

ApiMate uses AI to process your commands in real-time. We do not use Merchant Data or Customer Data (including derived or aggregated data) for training, developing, or improving AI or machine learning systems. Your data is processed solely to provide the services you have requested.

Data Handling on Uninstall

When you uninstall ApiMate, all active sessions are immediately deactivated and access tokens are invalidated. We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks for data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction.

No Scraping or Mining

We do not scrape, crawl, or mine data from Shopify stores. All data access is performed exclusively through official Shopify APIs with proper merchant authorization.

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

ApiMate's technology, brand, and content are protected by intellectual property laws. We retain all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

Your Content

You retain ownership of your data and content. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Feedback

Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us to improve the service without obligation or compensation.

Disclaimers & Limitations

Service "As Is"

The service is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.

AI Accuracy

AI-powered systems may produce errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all automated actions before they are executed on your store.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the preceding 12 months.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Dubai, UAE, except where prohibited by local law.
